Construction and Punk Rock Tutus

Right now my studio is in complete distress. My husband took it upon himself to build a play room next to my studio and remodeling the ENTIRE space. That means, my area is cut in half and right now is filled with lumber, saws and drills. Oh, and my FAVORITE nail gun. I once thought the sound of the sewing machine at 1 am while working on a piece could be enough to drive one silly until the nail gun came into my studio. He means well, and i'm sure when it's done and all of my goodies are back where they belong it will be FABULOUS. But for the time being it is annoying and one big mess!

On a good note, finished-well almsot finished a complicated piece. The customer wants more lace but other than that the tutu is done. She wanted mutilayered, pixiecut, feather boa trimmed, rockin' skully goodness. If you want a custom piece, just let me know! I'd be glad to design something just for you!

Spring is coming! Or maybe it's wishful thinking! Spring Tutus in my store

It's cold-very cold here in Ohio. I never was a big fan of winter, heavy coats and snow so naturally I am dreaming of spring time! I was thrilled to find some spring silk flowers back on store shelves so it has me geared up and rolling out some spring tutus for photographs, dress up fun, and well just because little girls love to twirl in a fluffy new tutu!

I'm still offering a free matching hair clip with each piece so stop on by and take a look around as i'm adding new items often.

I hope everyone had a great start into their new year and are staying warm and cozy with their families.

2009-It's hard to believe it's almost here! Valentine's Day Tutus in store!

Time really does fly doesn't it? I can't imagine that in a few short days it will be yet another new year. My daughters ( and myself) just keep getting older and older. On the flip side, the New Year always comes with the hopes of a better year for everyone so here's to wishing that everyone's dreams come true! My dream for the new year is to have all of our remodeling projects done. I imagine having a husband who builds houses for a living, has a bit to do with the fact our projects are never finished. His new idea-remodeling the basement to accomdate a play room and although there is a shower, sink and toilet down there we must must must rip it all out and start anew so we can have three full baths. Sigh. I know I know I should be thrilled right?! I'd much rather see the kitchen finished as it was started the week we moved in. Something tells me he just really really doesn't want to work on it;)

On the flip side, I'm gearing up for the future holidays-Valentine's Day and so forth in my shop. And I can not WAIT to welcome Spring:) In the meantime, if you need a sweet lil' tutu for some Valentine's Day shots, don't hesitate to stop on by. And remember, custom orders and new ideas are always a favorite!!!

I hope everyone has a wonderful start into 2009. Thank you again for helping to make this last year so wonderful.

Merry Christmas Everyone from Trinity's Tutus!!!

The year is winding down, and here in Ohio the weather is cold as expected, as we gear up for our new year! I wanted to thank all of my wonderful customers who have helped make this last year so enjoyable. It has been a pleasure working with you, and getting to know you all. Also, I want to thank all of my "online" friends and especially the ladies from the Cafemom Etsy Street Team who have helped me along the way from day one on. If you shoppers haven't visited the stores of these talented ladies, please don't hesitate to search on etsy under the tag Cafemom Team to see all the fantastic items these wonderufl mommies create. You won't find better sellers anywhere else!

Our presents are all wrapped, and ready for the morning, although my oldest daughter is spending Christmas in New York with her daddy and his family so she had her Christmas with us a bit early:) I hope that everyone has a great Christmas and also has a very happy and safe New Year as well. I look forward to the new year with each and every one of you!
